Samuel M. First presented “Labor and Employment Issues in a Trump World” to the American Society of Appraisers, Philadelphia Chapter’s January Breakfast Meeting on Jan. 18, 2017. During his presentation, Mr. First discussed President Trump’s anticipated new labor and employment agenda that is expected to reverse the Obama Administration’s pro-employee, pro-union agenda, and usher in an era of more employer-friendly laws, regulations and policies.
Mr. First is the Labor and Employment Chair at Jacobs Law Group. With more than 24 years’ experience, he represents and advises clients in employment discrimination matters, non-compete, non-solicitation and trade secret disputes, executive employment agreements, employee termination and disciplinary matters, and the complex web of federal, state and local laws governing the workplace. Mr. First also regularly represents clients in business/shareholder disputes and other business transactions.
