Jake Kelinson joined Jacobs Law Group in 2022, after graduating from Rutgers Law School. Jake handles a variety of business, employment, and commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining Jacobs Law Group, Jake worked at a large regional insurance defense firm located in Philadelphia. While at Rutgers Law, Jake externed with the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where he assisted on numerous high-profile matters. Jake also served on the executive board of the Rutgers Business Law Review and focused his studies on corporate and business law.
In addition, Jake has extensive knowledge surrounding the legalization of cannabis and the legal issues posing corporate America. He was published by the American Bar Association in 2022 for his article – “The Business Buds: How the Booming Marijuana Industry is Potting Seeds in Professional Sports Enterprises.”
Jake grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He later attended West Chester University, graduating magna cum laude in 2018. During his time at WCU, Jake took part in community service, athletics, Greek life, charities, and countless philanthropic events.
Today, Jake is a proud member of the Alzheimer’s Association and remains active in other regional/national charities. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and resides in Philadelphia.
