Issues in Entrepreneurship: Advice From the Trenches
Jack Rosenbloom
was a featured lecturer at the Baida
Center for Entrepreneurship in Technology.
Knowing how to recognize a legal issue when it arises, prevent some
legal issues from developing, and calculate when to ask an attorney
or trusted advisor for help are often foreign skills for budding
entrepreneurs. Through his interactive workshop Jack helped participants
gain a better appreciation and understanding of the legal issues
facing startup ventures and when and how to choose an attorney.

Neal Jacobs was
a panelist at the Entrepreneurs'
Forum Business Success Roundtable. The goal of the Roundtable
was to provide local entrepreneurs access to some of the area’s
leading experts to discuss issues directly impacting their business.
Attendees had the opportunity to discuss current challenges facing
their business and gain valuable input on options to improve their
business.

Services CLE seminar Advanced Judgment Enforcement in Philadelphia.
Neal spoke on semi-amicable collection methods as well as issues

Divorce: Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
Neal Jacobs once
again served as the course planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's
Business Divorce series. This CLE seminar was given three times
in Pennsylvania: April 14, 2004 in Philadelphia; April 20, 2004
in Pittsburgh; and April 28, 2004 in Mechanicsburg. The seminar,
which focuses on the legal and financial implications of partnership
disputes and dissolutions, is a highlight of the PBI's business
law offerings. In addition to serving as course planner, Neal
also spoke on conflict and conflict resolution. Matthew
Cohen also served as a presenter. He spoke on IP issues, notably
as they relate to litigation in the context of Business Divorce.
